Arguments.

They’re the scourge of our existence living in an online world.

People will fight in a circle for hours on end over the most absurd things.

The next time you feel the need to argue, ask yourself this first:

“Can this person grasp the concept of other people having differing perspectives from their own?”

If the answer is “no,” you’re in a lose lose situation, so best to save your breath and let them keep all of their irrationality to themselves.

What’s the Point of Arguing?

When we engage in “arguments,” they should be, hopefully, constructive.

This is typically referred to as a “debate” for those of us who are unfamiliar with the difference.

Sure, we all get into fights with family members, spouses, children, our friends, but i’m not talking about petty arguments over who was meant to take the trash out.

I’m referring to argumentative people that you’ll encounter, in all areas of life, but mostly online.

People will fight over anything if they think they can make their point.
